Adult Horror Novel:
"The Woman in the Walls"
Summary
The woods have become saturated to the eye. Dying leaves are painful to watch. They feel alive; pulsing, growing, encroaching around their new home. Lilith is terrified of her newborn daughter, Mary. Those freshly formed eyes follow and Lilith cannot escape their gaze in the old Maryland home. In the mountains, Lilith feels the trees close around her, the walls of their home become suffocating. Her husband, John is beyond understanding her fear, but she is not alone. A woman lives in the corner of her eyes, whispers in her ear, and sings from within the drywall. As the whispers of this woman grow louder, Lilith watches the roles of her little family peel away like rotted wallpaper.
